While Europeans, grew up playing in leagues with mostly white players and never felt that intimidation or societal stereotype to not play basketball just because they were white.

Add in specialization in sports when family / coaches , etc....steer elite White athletes away from certain sports ( Basketball) & positions in Football (Cornerbacks) .
