St. John's wins 71-65. Chris Mullin deserves some heat for this St. John's team underperforming all season, but this is a great win for them. They pulled this off with Shamorie Ponds playing as bad as he has all season. This is the kind of win that can springboard a talented team to a good run in March.

Good win for the Johnnies. I could see them finishing the season strong, but I could also see them laying another deuce against Providence during the week.

Meanwhile, I just got home from seeing sms's Bears shoot nearly 70% from 3 against Loyola Chicago, so now we have a 3-way tie atop the Valley standings. I still think Loyola is the best team in the league, but they have been schizophrenic all season.
