You are sadly mistakenly confusing your timeline!!

From 1951-1979,,Connors,Flint and Washington had multiple reliable kickers on every team they fielded!!

See my post.

Damn what type of nonsense bull**** statement is that??

Never have been too bright??

You saying that confirms you aren't too bright!!

Coach Nick Conner built the entire athletic department from scratch turning PKs football to a statewide name and PKs basketball into a national name in the 1960s.

Coach Eddie Flint won 3 LIALO STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES and had the best record and the highest winning % in the LIALO.

Coach Otis Washington had a WINNING RECORD AGAINST EVERY LOUISIANA HIGH SCHOOL TEAM (((save Istrouma 0-1,1976 semis loss))).

Won or shared the Catholic League Title in::'70,'71,'72,'73,'75,'77,'78,'79

Never had a losing record on the field.

Worse record was 6-4,his first season.

2 unbeaten, untied teams.
4-1 loss teams, 3 District Champs THAT DIDN'T GET THE CHANCE TO COMPETE IN THE PLAYOFFS.

MORE PLAYERS SENT TO COLLEGE FROM 1969-1977 THEN ANY LOUISIANA HIGH SCHOOL.

The Dominant team in/of 1970s AAA/AAAA (the highest classification).

The biggest draw in the 1970s averaging 15,000 fans.

Rented the Dome and Tulane for district and playoff game from 1975-1979.

Was a nationally ranked team 3 separate years in the decade.

Was the COY even after his BEST team, 1972,was removed from the playoffs ;while Holy Cross removed the player in question and continued to the playoffs a few years prior!

Tony Biagas would have the Catholic League win record had he not resigned a few prior to Katrina.

The same coach along with Burton Burns and 1970s Defensive Coordinator Eddie Flint that coached '70s state titles.

The jobs they did as position coaches were exemplary.

Yeah Tony Biagas who was All Ivy League as a lineman and student athlete!!!

Yeah St.Aug coaches NEVER WERE TOO BRIGHT!!!

Compare the career records when Biagas resigned.

On another note:after Holy Cross beat Aug 4 straight from 1967-1970;Rummel had a better 1970s versus Aug then any other team.

Washington should have made the HOF BEFORE CONLIN AND HIS PEERS.
HE OWNED THEM!!

KALBACHER BEAT FLINT TWICE AND WASHINGTON TWICE!

NOBODY CAME CLOSE,THE MOST BEING 1978 AND 1979 RUMMEL.
