BraveTiger225...here is my Twickenham advice...
Most likely you will be staying in Central London, so you will need to plan to be at the train (not the Tube) station 2 hours to kickoff to get out to Twickenham. I think it is 30 minutes at most to get to the Twickenham stop. From there, it is 15-20 minute walk to the stadium.
As soon as you get off the train, if you take a left and go over the bridge there is a pub called the Cabbage Patch that it always packed, but does have an outside. You will see lots of fans having pints there.
If you get there real early, I would recommend going to my favorite pub there, with great views of Eel Pie Island is the White Swan. Your wife will probably appreciate much more than the Cabbage Patch.

On the walk to the stadium, you will see lots of food carts. I prefer this as it is quick, and better than what you will get in the stadium.
Also, after the game, there are many pubs within the stadium that fans stay after and have a pint or two.
As for tickets, you will find tickets if you really want to go. I got face value tickets last spring for the Wales-England six nations game.
I have also been to Twickenham for Ireland-England, England-BaBaas, Aviva Championship, etc...and it is always a good time.
And as stated on the Dublin piece, get the ref ear. It will give you the insight you need to enjoy the game if you do not know what all the penalty calls stand for :)
So, yes, I am hoping you really go

He's gonna go. Too much positive feedback the say, "Whoa, this looks like too much fun."
