Game 6 of the '86 WS is on. Does this game even make you flinch anymore with the recent success they've had?

If it were me, no way I'd watch this game still, even with 2 titles in 6 years.

There is no reason for me to watch it even thought I am a Red Sox fan.

I am sure their clubhouse was one of best in all of baseball back in day. Canseco and McGwire had nothing on them

No way in hell any fan that was alive for that could ever feel better about that.

Even though the Yankees won this season, I still change the channel everytime a mention of the 2004 collapse comes on TV

I wonder if people will watch it and actually realize that Buckner didn't lose the game for them.

Don't forget about all the split tail Hernandez was running. I think I might pick up The Bad Guys Won tomorrow.

Lenny Dykstra, Mookie Wilson, George Foster, Wally Backman and Kevin Mitchel. Man that had to be a fun club house

That's what I was thinking. You don't just lose that feeling of disgust. Although, I'd much rather have that single wtf moment than the slow torture Yankees fans went through during that series.

Horrible... especially since my brother is engaged to a girl from Boston.

Painting a swath and assuming that everyone that watches the game just blindly blames Buckner for the loss is just as ignorant as anyone whom actually does blame Buckner for the loss. What was kind of sad was that it did take the Sox winning a World Series championship for the man to be 'forgiven' and treated to a heroes welcome in Fenway Park. It just shows how idiotic that 'Red Sox Nation' had truly been and acted up until 2004.

For the record, sure, it was McNamara's bonehead pitching decisions that cost that Red Sox team game 6, but Bill Buckner is still more than welcome to come sit next to me at a Mets game any day.
