I hate this colored turf. It was bad enough with Boise State using it as a gimmick and wearing matching uniforms to blend in, but now you have a team trying to copy it. I really think the NCAA should outlaw it, and next time either of these schools change their surface they are not allowed to continue this assault on the eyes.
Plus, it is animal cruelty up there in Idaho with all the birds flying into that damn smurf turf.

. Now I'm going to have nightmares about Oregon taking their "colorful" unforms over there and the fashion police coming in to break it up and then . . . who knows! I am also wondering how many people that stadium holds. Looks smaller than Olympia (in Baton Rouge) where we played in highschool back in the day.

no it's not. You can see the black padding underneath the long blades of fake grass. Then they sprinkle the rubber shite in on top of it. Old astroturf had no blades or anything

It won't be as bright when they put the rubber down, still going to be ugly as hell though.
