Red Bluffs in Columbia, MS (day after rain)

I have a friend in town who wants to hike at Red Bluffs and tomorrow (day after rain) is the only day we can make it.
Any advice on this? I’ve never been… just wondering how big the water hazards are going to be.

There will be water in the creek bed but you can still “hike” it
Fwiw it’s more of a sight seeing spot than a hiking spot. There aren’t really trails there.

I’m from Columbia and it’s Red Bluff with no S. Like Joe Burrow. Cool place a long time ago (haven’t been since the 90’s) but I’ve heard it’s on private land now and access is more limited. You used to be able to hike down either side to the Pearl River. About 2 miles out if I remember correctly.
