Yeah I under estimated the position in my head. Ive got him ahead of those in bold though.

Ive got him ahead of:

Duncan, West, Jefferson, Ibaka, Milsap, and Landry though.

Closing in on: Scola, Boozer, Lee

Are you sure the Heat would prefer Westbrook over Love? 20/15 is hard to pass on.

Duncan, Im a huge fan, he's just old.

West,

Jefferson, why is he on this list?

Ibaka, jumps high. Tyrus Thomas type

Milsap, he's tough, probably ahead of JJ right now.

Landry, 6'2" power forward. Give great effort though.

Like I said, just my opinion. JJ has great upside going into next season.

You know how to evaluate talent though! See my sig.

I think he's better offensively than you're giving him credit for. 10 points in 27 minutes/game is pretty solid for a 21 year old who has only been playing basketball for a few years. He has a nice jump shot, good touch on that floater that he has, and shoots a good percentage from the line. His problem is he doesn't finish through contact well for a guy with his size and athleticism but I think that will improve as he gets stronger.

He should be a 15 ppg guy with high percentages and elite defense and rebounding, I think that's better than what Hibbert and Lopez have to offer, but it's probably a matter of preference. I figured having Ibaka at 4 would generate the most criticism, also wasn't sure what to make of Beasley and Mayo right now.

West,

Who knows how West will come back from injury, but assuming both are fully healthy, there is no way in hell Hickson is better than West.

At least until he can become a more consistently efficient scorer.

Hickson's numbers are inflated offensively because of the team he plays on. His usage rate was higher than Kevin Love's

His shooting percentage was much higher and his turnovers were way down the few years that he played with LeBron. He didn't have to create for himself nearly as much and most of his shots were right near the rim or dunks.

Now, without LeBron, he is shooting pretty poorly for a power forward and he turns the ball over a lot more.

No way I would take West right now over JJ. Dont forget for a long time this year JJ was the #1 option on the Cavs. No way he should have been in that position. He also was switched from the 4 to the 5 and back several times.

With Varejo back this year and the improved play of Ryan Hollins he should be freed up to do some things. He is tremendously versatile.

He will be an 18/10 guy this year imo.

Taking age into consideration, you take Hickson over West. No contest.

But I thought we were just naming the best power forwards in the game. And I don't think there's a chance Hickson will be considered better than West until he develops a better isolation game and can create and finish his own shot at a higher rate.

West is a very solid one-on-one player and has shot over 50% from the field the last two years.
