TB has won 18 of last 23 against NYY. They completed their second sweep in their last three trips to the Bronx, but just TB’s fourth sweep all time at NYY.

Will TB win the AL East ?

Terrible. As a Marlins fan, I was pumped to sign him. The contract is heavily back loaded so we didn't even pay all that much for him. Most people won't feel bad for a guy making 300 million, but it must be brutal knowing you aren't close to living up to that contract.

The guy had zero pressure on him in Miami, and was living the good life. Decided he wanted to win and now the Yankees are shite while the Fish are on the up.

What? The dude has put up a +128 OPS... It's like people have chosen to believe on narrative... Plus the Yankees aren't paying his full salary since he opted in, the Marlins are helping.

So he's not playing: it's not working just like verlander now.

his first year with the yanks was a good season. then missed all of his second season, and the majority of last season. currently off to a .162 start. I still expect Stanton to hit over 30 hrs for the next few years though. Everybody would want a stanton on their team, but hes not worth that value.

2020 I'm not holding against anyone, he needs to play at least 130 games a year to make the contract work but when he is in the lineup he is producing.
