Funny how people talk about Ray Lewis in regards to this case when I've heard the exact same arguments on this board about areas in ATL and how they don't want to go to Baseball/Basketball games because of the THUGS around ATL. Hmmmmm.

People do realize in any case self defense cab switch back and fourth multiple times right? Save the blanket statements for bumper stickers and t-shirts or risk sounding more ignorant than an Obama is taking our guns redneck.

Even if you initiate a confrontation and other guy is defending himself, once you switch positions into dominance and ate now the aggressor the roles have reversed and now the other person is in the self defense position. It's why you can't shoot someone running away in some states because the threat is gone.

If someone deserved an arse whipping or not is totally different.but please continue what you read on a t-shirt to seem smart

in both situations we don't know who "started the fight" though

Out of all the people there, why would someone attempt to rob Ray Lewis?

Looks like it's in trial.

Yesterday
quote:

Witness: I saw "a heavier man on top": On Wednesday, attorneys for George Zimmerman deposed a woman who told Sanford, Fla., police that the night Trayvon Martin was shot, she saw two figures fighting, "a heavier man on top," the Orlando Sentinel reports. Zimmerman outweighed the 17-year-old by 45 pounds, according to prosecution records.

Ray Ray.

And I personally don't give a shite about Trayvon. IMO he escalated a situation and picked a fight he shouldn't have and got dealt with in a way he wasn't expecting.

Let's see, Zimmerman followed Martin, Zimmerman got out of his car, Zimmerman approached Martin with a gun, but yet Martin is the one who picked a fight. You remind me of the logic of the jurors that served on the Emmitt Till murder trial. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Stating the obvious.

Can't wait to hear Martin's story about what happened. There aren't too many ways you can cut it when you look at the objective facts. Size, car,and deadly weapon. Not to mention the police asking Martin to not do anything.

FL does have an excusable homicide statute, but it only applies to non-deadly weapons.

Stating facts isn't bumper sticker.

Agreeing with a statement that says you can't claim self defense if you start it is a blanket statement which is all bumper stickers are.

Sorry your deflection method didn't work.
