I think he's been in a shallow groove all game. His fastball command is a lot better, still not where it needs to be, but just with that little command improvement and his breaking ball stuff, players bats are missing on fastballs that he doesn't locate.

I don't know what's funnier, the weak arse throw or the 2B thinking he got the 3rd out on what would have been out number 2

This pitcher is rattled. Has to be pissed at his defense.

And it's not like they're making up for it with their bats

And definitely not with their baserunning. They were trying to copy us (and ours hasn't been anything to brag about tonight).

LOL Gentry and Young must of attended the same base running class.

Hai Scuba.

Yu is making it interesting, so is our offense (we should be up 15-1 but our baserunning is as odd as Wash's decision making--historically I mean).

Nah, I would say Yu is doing a damn fine job. You aren't going to no hit the Tigers. And our hitters just took advantage of their shitty defense, where as our defense has been nice and pretty.

Not talking about that. But he's getting a high pitch count (again). This burns out bullpens.

His fastball command still isn't where it needs to be at, but he is still right at 100 pitches through 6 and will hopefully finish at 115 through 7. I would take that against the Tigers any night. And we will see his command improve, its already improved 10 fold through 2 games.

If he already has 100 pitches he won't get through the next inning.

They will have to pretty soon. Can't see Yu being effective at 115 pitches.
