The NFC East was in a similar position after the 2015season. Since then, Washington, Philadelphia, and NYG have spent 1st round picks on QBs (Haskins, Wentz, Daniel Jones).
WFT and NYG have had opportunities to draft different QBs that are currently regarded as franchise QBs, but they either passed on the position or chose the wrong guy
Josh Allen and Justin Herbert could have been in the NFC East. Instead, Dak Prescott is easily the best QB in the division. Six season later and a 4th round QB is still the best in the division.
