Lot of Pats connections, they have nothing but cap space to burn, and they might be able to squeeze a compensation pick out of it, although I’ve seen some people vastly overestimate what Gordon will get on the open market next year so if they get one it’ll be a 6/7th

Cheap bet on talent, pending free agent so possible to get a compensation pick

For people who don’t know, Miami’s OC was Josh Gordon’s WR coach last year. Fwiw

good info. i forget miami's connections to pats but then again, Miami in their shite season shouldn't be a place that claims Josh. Josh needs a structured team/environment and i'd hope they are aware of that.

Well despite them being a terrible football team, they have first hand experience on what involves keeping him in a good place mentally. I think you can have a good support system for him and not being a good football team.

Comp pick.

Same reason they took on talib (plus added draft capital in that situation)

that's a bit different, they immediately gained draft capital to utilize their cap space.

Not sure what the hell a comp pick could be for josh gordon... You have to not sign free agents for this to even work in the formula and shite.
