Can we just tell Bama to sit it out, give them a trophy, and have a playoff for second place? That’s the only way these are going to be interesting.
I can’t really tell if CFB is just down across the board or Bama is just so much better by comparison we’re thinking everyone is meh. Maybe a little of both.

The service academies’ football teams have spotted the same body type since the platoon system, which is why they stopped being competitive in the 1960’s. About 10 years ago, youth participation dropped significantly, and that generation of pee wees is now in college, and you’re seeing the results.
