Apparently it's a play they run. They don't move and the dline busts through and the qb tosses the ball to a rb that comes in behind the dline. That leaves the entire o-line to block. They ran that play another time during the game and there was a illegal formation or something.

I thought there was a defensive offsides on that play?
Its conceivable you might coach your entire O-line to not budge unless they hear the snap count while simultaneously coaching your center and qb to do an early snap if the D jumps offsides. You don't get a "free play" like this (though you do get 5 yards) - but if the O-line is coached to absolutely never move until the snap count is heard, the savings you get on false starts may be worth it.
Its also possible the intent is to confuse the defense on the play - make them think the play isn't happening. If the ploy doesn't work - its OK because there's an offsides. If the ploy works - you could very well get a TD.
