As a Nashvillian my first response to this days ago was a resounding pffft,yeah right. The more it's been discussed though,the more plausible it appears.

-Whatever they would spend on him is repayed threefold since he's been deified,sainted and pronounced Jebus here.

-No state income tax,pretty significant when you're talking tens of millions.

-He knows this mediocre division blindfolded.

-TN is his last visit,which is usually an advantage.

-Crazy a$$ Bud Adams might want to make this his Hail Mary and flip everyone the bird this time.

pkus, what no one has mentioned is the business end of things for adams. Yeah, wiig is #1, but look at the miami heat... Appeal baby, appeal! No one gives a flying frick about the titans outside of nashville, and they've been to a superbowl! Bringing manning in would transform the identity of the titans. Adams would be a god for this, and he'd be rolling in the revenue!
