It might not be what he needs but it is what the Chiefs need. They need a challenge to focus on going forward instead of keep trying to do what they were doing five years ago. They went from the team in the AFC to being the tenth or eleventh best team in the AFC in a span of one year. You didn't lose out on a tiebreaker for the last wildcard. You were eliminated from the playoffs with almost a month still left in the season. You can't just slap a new coat of paint on this machine and call it good. You've got to pop open the hood and figure out what is going on in the engine and drive train. Fat and happy days are over. It's time to really put your back back into your work.
