Didn't see it mentioned yet, but Tress's clock management at the end of the 1st half was terrible.

After the pick, there was about 50 secs left, and they (Purdue) had two timeouts, with us having the ball on our own 20. First play, calls a run, for negative yds and Purdue uses a TO to stop the clock with about 45 left. Next play is 2nd down with our ball on the 15 (remember Purdue only has one timeout at this point) and he tries a pass for the first down? Why? Then, he runs on 3rd, they call TO with about 30, and it leads to a FG. There's no way Tress was trying to score, so what was he thinking?
