Yes....the sister are great for womens tennis. Other then them no one is worth a flying frick.

What's so great about them for the women's game? I agree with poster above. I can't stand when the broadcasters talk about the Williams sisters, even when they aren't playing. Personally, I enjoy watching the women's tennis when they aren't playing. The match involving Li Na and the Schivone in the French Open was an entertaining match that had great points IMO.
All during the French, they kept talking about how the field was wide open b/c the Williams' sisters weren't playing. Really? How many French Opens have the Williams sisters won combined over the past 10+ years?
One, while I don't mind watching Venus, or even pulling for her, I can't stand Serena. If she wasn't so man-like, she would be worthless. It's laughable to see Serena attempting to do touch shots or drop volleys and she fails miserably. She's simply able to dominate the women's game b/c she can overpower everyone with her beast serve and strokes. But there's certainly nothing graceful or strategic about the way she plays.

At least with them you know some random person isn't going to win a title. Look at mens tennis..the champions are dominated at the top by RF & RN.
When the sisters play you have to always think one of them is going to win this. Plus, they pull huge crowds. When growing up watching..would you rather be like Fed and win a bunch or like Andy and can't win a championship to save your life?

Raonic hurt himself and just withdrew. Lucky break for Nadal I guess, although Muller is the last person besides Fed to beat Nadal at Wimbledon
