All play other than Murray's match is suspended until tomorrow. Not off to a great start. Some of the courts tomorrow have 5 matches scheduled now

Tomorrow will be great. All tennis all damn day,

And yeah, Murray looked solid when he finally decided to come out of the locker room. ESPN's brilliant commentary was already doing the "who else has been out in the 1st round two years in a row" nonsense after the first set.

Let's hope the other Andy can whoop some arse tomorrow! (And my future wife Maria...I need to break it to Sasha)

even in Houston its only more uppity clubs that have them (and its usually only 2 courts)

Outside of my TV, I have never seen anything but hard courts.

Yes this was my first thought when I saw those odds. You either break even or make $12.50. However, you lose $100 if Djokovic or someone else fricks this up.

Unless I'm having a mega brain fart, I don't think this is right.

Nadal at 2 to 1, meaning a 50 bet and win pays 100. Minus the 50 I bet on Fed, I'm plus 50.

Fed at 9 to 4, meaning a 50 dollar bet pays 112.50 (I think). Minus 50 I bet on Nadal, I'm plus 72.50.

Right?

I didn't sleep last night, so maybe I'm off here.

Played on both grass and clay. HUGE fan on clay. Exact opposite feelings towards grass, it sucks!

Sometimes I don't sleep either, just lately though. Something in the water?

I've played on the omni synthetic grass court that is supposed to play like/similar to real grass. It's been years, but I played once on a grass surface at the San Destin Beach Resort. However, i don't recall if it was real grass or synthetic grass.

You mean the European red clay, or American red clay, or America Har-tru/green rubico? I've only played on the Har-tru/rubico, but its my understanding that the American clay (both red and green) plays substantially different from the Euro red clay.

clay is the best IMO, so much fun.

Grass...honestly its fun for like an hour and then the mystique is over
you do feel a little more manly dropping bombs on serve games though

I played grass in Naples, Fl. Other than that I've never seen it.

Sandestin has real grass courts, but they're more like the grass you would have seen at Wimbledon years ago and then some. The ball wouldn't bounce any higher than 10 inches off the ground regardless of shot played.

European clay. I like it cause I've always been a fast, well-conditioned defensive player so it works for me. That and I feel like a pimp if I get a good slide haha.

I like how clay plays the best too. It compliments my heavy spin game
