Look at the arms in the draft. They still have some excellent pitchers available an that's hurting him.

ok...im just wondering..i have never seen him play, other than 2 games last year in teh sec tourney. is he a pure power hitter? average hitter? what? gimme a little scouting report. does he have any speed? hell, i dont even know what position he plays

He's pretty much a 5-tool player in college.

Who knows how that will transfer to the pros, but he should be a major league player. Obviously his speed and pretty good arm strength will be there.

ETA: And we've had classes together.

He plays center, probably a corner in the MLB though. He's pretty damn fast, and he almost led the SEC in HR's this year. He's been pretty much a guarantee of 10+ Hr's each year. Good power, but good avg also.

great speed, good arm...strikes out a little too much....plays CF....takes bad angles on balls sometimes but has gotten better
