Corey better chill the frick. Save those homers for the braves
What a nightmare scenario. I was hoping he would suck it up so the Atlanta lovefest with Hart would chill the frick out.

Al Davis is somewhere in LA watching this, tomorrow there will be an offer on the table for Corey Hart to join the Raiders because he is a physical specimen.

Seeing all the fans at this makes me think I should never go to California
Looks like a stadium full of douches

i went to the home run derby and the allstar game when it was in houston... the stadium was over capacity, but this stadium has alot of empty space...
i assume its because its on the west coast and the time difference, some people may not be able to get off work.

If Phillie Phanatic can manage 5 Home Runs it will give the Phillies the most in Derby History.

That guy was platooned with Jim Edmonds to start the year and had to go to arbitration to win a $750k raise.
Things have definitely turned around.

He's tied in the major leagues with "just enough" homeruns. The ball speed off his bat on homeruns is below the major league average. His HR/FB ratio is 6.6% above his career average.
I don't think he keeps this up in the 2nd half, and neither do the projection systems. I heard the Atlanta radio jumping on the Hart bandwagon today and puked a little in my mouth.
Here's a link to all the Derby contestants ball off bat speed and avg HR distance HR Derby Contestants
