True. Get out of your comfort zone and recruit east of New Orleans.
They have 2 kids from Florida starting. 1 on defense and starting center. Regardless of Rob Sales connections to where they were at, just shows me that if you recruit the kids, there are kids that are out of this region that will go to McNeese given the chance.

That win over USF was big time. Every time there a conversation about an FCS beating an FBS, that's talked about. That year, that was all over ESPN repeatedly. Nothing beats putting yourself in a position to have that kind of marketability. North Dakota St hosted Gamday. It takes winning big games and playoff games to have that exposure.
On a side note: I saw Trevor Begue play last night, kids a talent. Reminds me of the briscoe kid. Can catch and is a playmaker.

Hate to say I told you so but 
Hard to beat a team twice In the same season especially when U have to play them again within a month. Slu lucked out and came from behind and won.
