I have the same exact situation. I am thinking hard about going with Orton, but I just cannot accept the fact that Rivers will have back-to-back sub-par games. What about you?

Running back trouble. Who to start?
McClain
Sproles
Buckhalter
I would start McClain & Buckhalter (Westbrook is a "no-go").

quote:Well, that was my thought yesterday. But today, I'm waivering. NE has been good against SD and Atlanta's D has given up way more yards (like 300 more yards passing), although, now that I think about it, that may be because of the bye week. I'll check on that and get back to you ASAP.

quote:Okay, after further review, that was based on 4 games for the Pats and 5 games for ATL. NE is averaging 175 passing yards allowed. ATL is averaging 221 passing yards allowed. The only teams who have not topped 200 passing yards against ATL are KC (please) and TB, where KC, NYJ, and SF couldn't top 200 against NE. Aaron Rodgers put up 300 against ATL last week with a bum shoulder. Not sure whether that says more about him or ATL's D. I think these stats give the nod to Orton even if you consider Rivers better overall. Also, Chambers is a game time decision and I have to decide today because I won't be near a computer at game tomorrow. Additional thoughts?

My line-up:
QB: Kurt Warner
RB: Marion Barber
LT
Ronnie Brown
Thomas Jones
WR: Reggie Wayne
Hines Ward
Steve Smith (Carolina)
Roddy White
Desean Jackson
TE: Tony Gonzales
Kevin Boss
DE: Eagles
Giants
KI: Mason Crosby
My line-up is pretty stacked, but someone offered to trade me Marshawn Lynch for LT. I'm thinking about doing it, because LT hasn't really performed too great because of his toe injury. Because I have so much depth in my line-up, is it worth sticking it out with LT to see if his injury goes away? Or go ahead and trade for Lynch, who is pretty solid for the Bills?

quote:I'm a big fan of Lynch this year. He's been great and runs hard. On the other hand, I don't know what to think about LT. He just doesn't seem to be his old self (toe or no toe). But I am curious, why would the other team want to give up Lynch for an under-performing LT? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

Ah. I did forget my backup QB. Matt Hasselbeck. I'd hardly call him a backup. The way he's playing, I'd be better off not playing a QB.

His team hasn't won yet. I think he's just trying anything, because what he has now, isn't working. I wouldn't if I were him. He also has Peterson.
I have another trade proposal for LT. Frank Gore for LT. You lean more one way than the other?

Yeah, no kidding. Well, I shouldn't be so hard on him. It's really the lacking for a supporting cast around him. He's not working with much.

quote:I'm just not sure that's an upgrade for you, even though both Gore and Lynch have more fantasy points than LT. I kinda have a bias against Gore, so you should probably consider other opinions.

I have to go start my pre-game meditation (medication, whatever). Good luck.

I'm in a PPR league.I'm debating on Ocho Stinko or Devin Hester.Mind you ppr,and Bears(who throw now)top receiver is out.DH had 6-55 1 td last game 17pts.Stinko hasn't done shite!I feel a DH return too and Ocho maybe breaking out with other QB.I'm leaning Hester but idk.Insight anyone?CIN@NYJ Chi@ATL Thoughts? Also have J Stewart vs.TB D

Thats a tough one , but from what Hester has done the last couple weeks... I'd prob go with him. Cincy has Fitzpatrick starting for them, so I def. wouldnt play CJ. Go with your gut.... thats just what I'd do. I dont want to be responsible

Warner or Farve?
And what about this:
Considering sitting LT with his sluggish start and starting this:
Portis
Fitz
Marshall
S. Smith
it is a PPR league
what you think?

Win Win IMHO
Look at the matchups.... Warner is playing Dallas which will be a shootout or a blow out in which the Cards. will be throwing the ball a lot. Im not sure who the Jets are playing. I have Romo and Warner and Warner has put up good numbers every game.... dont expect 6 td's every game from Favre
win win in my opinion
