Agreed, but the recreation of game 6 and the stadium atmosphere was great stuff...really great stuff

they could have done a good "where is he now" thing instead of mythologizing bartman's lack of public appearances

they spent more time on buckner than where bartman was today

i DID like the other fans who were right there being interviewed. i thought it was stupid to have the a-hole guy 15 rows behind act like a cool bro for acting hard

It was worth the watch. I never for a second thought that Bartman would appear in an interview.

The detective work that they did, and the special effects to do the recreations were pretty impressive. I liked the thing about the seven second radio delay, and how Bartman didn't hear the play until it was over.

The a-hole sales rep who thought he was still a bad-arse for throwing a beer on Bartman needs his clock cleaned. What a pussy.

I love sports, I have season tickets in the North endzone. I never comment when regarding sports but love to hear the interactions among fans about topics I care about, I guess my 7 big posts are indicative of the above statement. This documentary made me think the only individual worth a shite was Bartman.

As bad as those 2 nights in October, 2003 were, I took 2008 much harder. As much as the World Series was in their hands, the Cubs were a Cinderella of sorts in 2003. In 2008, they were hands down the best team in the NL and choked it away again. I'm still not over that
2003 broke my heart. 2008 just pissed me off. It was like, "Why even bother being so dominate in the season if ou are going to not compete in the playoffs?" Just suck so we don't bother getting our hopes up. Which they have done since then.

the radio delay aspect was interesting

the 180-page report written by the 2 attorneys was pretty weak

No, that was stupid, at least during the play. I seriously doubt that he was listening word for word while the ball was in the air.

Now a minute or two after it all happened, yeah it's interesting that he was listening to that.

I like the guy who reached for the ball and later pointed out Bartman. He said he didn't, but yeah it was obvious.

He also said that once he saw Alou's glove he knew not to touch the ball.

Alex Gonzalez made $30.2 MM during his career.

He could throw Bartman $500K for being the biggest sports scapegoat of a decade

The thing that pissed me off the most about this document is the relief pitcher for Boston who basically laid all the blame on Buckner. You came in and threw the wild pitch that gave up the lead...idiot.

Stanley was considered a dope at that time too

it just seems like they could have done a shitload more with this piece

It was better watching it the 2nd time. I think most everybody was like I was when I first watched it a month ago, pretty let down. After watching it again and knowing that it's not really just about Bartman and more about how extremely ridiculous scapegoating is, I appreciated it more.

true, but i want to hear more from those that benefitted from the scapegoating as opposed to those that got screwed by it

I agree. I'm guessing none wanted anything to do with it.

they were trying to eject him from the game, I don't blame him...I'm not getting canned from a saints game for something i didn't do.

i'm sure the guy is a cocksucker, but him pointing really added nothing to the end result...fox sports fricked bartman over, moises alou fricked him over, and so did that cock swab mark prior (makes me kind of glad that his career was ruined by injuries...justice)
