If they are the best team in the NBA (as you so stated) then no, they do not to worry about the 48-34 Utah Jazz with a 15-26 road record.

Should the Lakers get past Utah they take on the Houston-Portland winner. Portland is another team that LA hasn't faired well against on the road dropping the last 8 games there.

Despite the Laker's win/loss record...some teams just play certain teams better or tougher and so many teams will get up to play the Lakers and maybe not so against other teams. It certainly won't be a cakewalk if the Lakers get back to the Finals again.

I bet that's what the Celtics thought last season against the 37-45 Atlanta Hawks with a 12-29 road record.
