Just got back from my first round in the UK for the World Cup.
I went to the Italy-France, USA-Samoa, Canada-Italy, and USA-Scotland games.
Generally, I had a very good time.
Italy - France
I have been to Twickenham for 6N matches, but this was by far and away my worst experience. The trains, shuttles, bathrooms, etc were just so disorganized.
The pluses was that the French and Italy fans were great and cheerful the whole game.
USA-Samoa
Brighton crew was great getting people to and from the game. High praise for them.
The stadium is small, but it was very beautiful.
The USA and Samoa fans seemed to really enjoy it.
Canada-Italy
I know I should in theory cheer for Canada, but could not. Cheered for Italy and thought I was putting the hex on them. They tightened up when they brought in their first row.
The Canadian fans were great. Saw guys dressed up as Mounties, Bret the Hitman Hart, etc..
The Canadian players were all cool and nice. We stayed at the Marriott where they were, and met Cudmore's wife who is very beautiful.
USA - Scotland
Great atmosphere all around. The Flower of Scotland is such a great song to be heard at a stadium
The US pack really impressed me for once. The lineout, that was a disaster.
But to be winning at half, I will take it. I thought the scoreline was a little rough, but you make mistakes, you pay.
Overall, some great games being played and able to watch.
Negatives
The rail service has been a disaster in the UK. Lots of fans missing games, being late, etc..
Fanzones were a joke. Long queues, over priced, etc.
But looking forward to being in Cardiff in two weeks.

The only full match I linked was England/Wales. I didn't post the score, I guess in not understanding what you mean?

By posting the link in the first original post, I can watch the game without reading through the pages and possibly finding out who won.

TN Bhoy...question for you. I have never been to Wales, and will have a car and some time on Friday to do a little sightseeing before the games.
I have heard the Brecon Beacons are something to see, along with the easy check off of Cardiff Castle, do you recommend anywhere?

Depends on what you want to see.
Nature-wise, the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Peninsula (Rhossili and Oxwich would be the places to look for there) are basically the same distance from Cardiff (about an hour and a half). Both are gorgeous. Just depends on what type of landscape you like more.
Culturally, there's a ton:
- Cardiff Castle (which is actually mentioned in one of the Arthurian tales, even though the people who run Welsh tourism don't like mentioning it)
- There's an absolute ton of early Christian (and general later Roman/early medieval) stuff scattered throughout South Wales. My personal picks would be the Ogham Stones (Ogham is an early Celtic script that moved either from Wales to Ireland or from Ireland to Wales) in Margham near Port Talbot (about 45 minutes west of Cardiff). There's also a ton of stuff in and around Llantwit Major (about 25 minutes southwest of Cardiff), including a Roman villa and a bunch of Celtic Stones in St. Illtyd's Church (the current iteration is from the 11th Century, but the site has housed a church since the late fourth century, and both St. Patrick and St. David lived there for a time)
- If you like Doctor Who, the Doctor Who Experience is in Cardiff Bay
- Check out the Millennium Center, Llandaff Cathedral, and the Cathedral of St. David (all in Cardiff)
- Caerphilly Castle is about 20 minutes north of Cardiff.
- There are also a bunch of museums, including the Museum of Welsh Life, the National Roman Legion Museum, and your general museums and galleries.
The RWC fan zone is located inside Cardiff Arms Park.
Y Mochyn Du would be my pub recommendation for sports watching purposes. Also, try something Brains.
Warnings:
- Welsh drivers think sidewalks are parking spaces and do not care if people are standing there or not
- Cardiff Bay is a big ISIS recruiting ground (I'm completely serious)
- Wind fricking sucks. Parts of Cardiff (and South Wales in general) are basically a wind tunnel.
- Cardiff's seagull population is intelligent and evil. Most are also huge.

Got back yesterday from my trip to the UK. Was supposed to go to the USA-Samoa match but cab didnt show up to take me to Manchester airport and missed my flight to London. Had a great time anyway.
Was in Edinburgh for the USA-Scotland match and it was awesome! And to be leading at half was even better. Then reality set in. Ive been saying that Scotland has looked good in the months leading up to the RWC.

Wales-Fiji was a great game to watch. The Fijians are one of the most entertaining teams to watch. Absolutely brutal with the ball in hand. If they were more disciplined on defense they could be contenders. (If they weren't in the pool of death). Though I'm not crazy with how the referee called the game, mainly allowing Wales to continuously dive over the ruck to prevent counter-rucking.
