If anyone is crying it's you how big bad sec teams get away with everything and Louisville and Kentucky don't get calls
Herp Derp.
You wanted an explanation as to why it doesn't get called. I've offered more then one (as have others). Top teams in conferences tend to get a favorable whistle (meaning no holding) and it happens so often that if you called every little holding that happened it would several disrupt the flow of the game.
It's the same thing in basketball. If every single time two players made physical contact (technically a foul) were called you couldn't finish the games for everyone who would foul out.
It's not rocket science.

As am I. Offensive holding doesn't get called because it happens all the time and would disrupt the flow of the game.
I'm convinced you have no idea the play I'm talking about. Defensive end in perfect position to get the sack/tackle for loss after blowing by the offensive lineman and gets tackled from behind, right in front of head judge. This is a critical call and is not disrupting the flow. Once again, not a normal hold in the interior of the line. You keep up. Want multiple choice?

And how blatant is it really? Because I've seen you boys complain about what would've been a standard holding call that doesn't get called but you think it's murder because of who is committing it.

Read previous post and try to wrap that brain around it. We'll give you some time to come up with something else that doesn't pertain. I'm concerned with the obvious one, not the "travelling in basketball". K. Thanks. Multiple choice still on the table

they seriously don't call holding on Bama at all. It is kind of comical actually

Wish i had the play where Mingo got tackled. Absolutely blatant. Picture a meth head running toward you and Bluegrass Bob tackles him from behind and beats him with a 2x4, which allows you to get away with the stash. That blatant.
It's the kind of play that mangles an ends knee

Not sure if other conferences are as bad as the SEC at ignoring offensive holding. I first noticed it being really bad in the SEC in 2007. Every year since I've been aware that the SEC refs are simply not going to call more than 1 or 2 a game.
Side note, an A&M fan was on here commenting several weeks back that he was amazed at the lack of holding calls in the SEC. That leads me to believe that the Big12 at least probably calls it more often.

I can attest to this. Watch a lot of Oklahoma games with my dad an OU alum, and the call holding way more.
