Yep, thus why I said compare how far he advanced “on average” in the hard court tournaments versus hour far Federer and Djokavic advanced on average in the French Open.

US Open is actually one of the slowest hardcourt surfaces on tour (along with Indian Wells and Miami). Aussie Open is fastest hardcourt slam and one of the fastest hardcourt surfaces on tour (along with Cinci).

Not too crazy that Rafa has had success at US Open but he's also capitalized well on his opportunities there (and has won it twice (2017 and 2019) with some incredibly easy/lucky draws). Novak only has 3 US Open titles but has made the final 9 times. Just a weird slam for him especially when you consider he's also made Aussie Open final 9 times but has won it every time.
