What truly should have happened? People and schools should have operated under the intent of NIL.

No collectives, no kids who’ve never played a game yet and bring no value to your business yet, but rather proven players who truly generate millions of dollars for schools and communities being paid form to sit performance through local, regional, and, for the very lucky few, national sponsorships.
