Yeah, but Chicago worries me. I've seen this team score goals in bunches. It is looking good so far.

Loo is one of those rare goaltenders that can function well with sporadic action...if Vancity wins 1 of the first two games they win this series in 6...watch...

Wow Chicago played like shite...completly outclassed by Vancouver...It's possible Vancouver heads home up 2 games....

I recorded the game so I'm a little late getting my comments in. After watching it, I was content I made the right decision to go out and not see it live. That was an incredible performance by Vancouver, but Chicago definitely didn't play anywhere close to their abilities. I figured Vancouver would be hungry after last year (and picked them to win the series), but I expected highly competitive games. Losing that bad at home is a real tone setter. I guess the upshot for Chicago is that it only counts as one loss.

Luongo was impressive and I wasn't too surprised by that considering how last year's series ended. I won't be shocked if Chicago has a game or two where they really get to him, but I expect him to continue to play well for the rest of the series. Chicago faces a must win in Game 2 IMO. They definitely need to score early in that one and get some positive momentum.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's games. I think my two predicted finalists (Redwings and Pens) will both win.

Yeah kind of but I can't see what positives Joel Q takes away from this game their only goal was a 5 on 3 for a minute and a half and they still almost blew that too.... I don't know that Chicago won't win game 2...but after watching this game It looks unlikely, you've got to go with Chris Huet in net and that guy has been idle for a month...I say game 6 Vancity for the win....

I certainly wouldn't complain, but I'm not taking anything for granted. I'm interested to see how they adjust with Stall out. It looks like Talbot will be taking his place, but I expect Rupp to get more time as well. And Crosby should get a little more ice time; something I'll never complain about.

They are saying the tendon was lacerated on the top of his foot, no the achilles and he should be back around the conference finals....I think they've the depth to take out a Philla or Boston...without Staal....

Yeah, there won't be any excuses. Boston lost Sturm for the remainder of the playoffs and the Flyers currently have 3 major pieces missing from their lineup. I just think they're going to need him against whoever comes out of the West.

As I watch this capacity crowd in Pittsburgh I really can't help but think how lucky and privileged they are as fans....Mario, Coffey, Sid Malkie, Fluery, even Barasso great players...then I think about my experiences ith Toronto and I want to puke.

Really good start. They're dominating in every aspect. And as I've said before, when guys like Cooke/Dupuis/Adams are scoring, it's damn near impossible to beat the Pens.

That was the 4th line's first shift...I am amazed to see old Halak in there to start I think I woulda gone with Huet until he fricked up...
