Marcus Williams + 5th for Jamal.

Thanks.

Add two first rounders to that and you can start to have a conversation

Talib to Miami. Schefter:

Trade: Rams are trading CB Aqib Talib AND a fifth-round pick to Miami for a future pick, per source.

1 day... you're playing for a Super Bowl contender

the next... you're headed to the team with the best odds to finish the season winless

ouch

ETA: AND... the winless team needed to get a draft pick to take you too... double ouch

Well you aren’t playing for either. He’s on IR. Doesn’t really effect him either way

You don’t have to designate players for return anymore. Rams didn’t have any plans to play him and I doubt the dolphins do either

Jamal wants to come home.

I’m not sure the price we’d have to pay would be worth it tbh. He is a spectacular player though and I’d love to have him.

I mean, he's not making y'all good enough to even make the NFC Championship. Not worth the picks.

He is under contract for two years after this.

It’s truly amazing watching these bad teams giving away their only elite talents while they are on cheap rookie contracts.

If you’re not gonna try to keep a guy like Adams, what are you going to do with the picks you get? Use them for two seasons and start the process over again?

the offseason goal was to get a safety, but the romo and dez dead cap didnt clear until after earl thomas signed with baltimore

this would be a great move. just give up the first rounder like for cooper and lets make this happen

For reference:

The Miami Dolphins safety was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers, along with a 2020 fourth-round pick and a 2021 seventh-round pick, in exchange for a first- and fifth-round pick in 2020 and 2021 sixth-round pick

That first rounder is also looking like a top 5-10 pick as well
