The NFL is the only one of the very few pro sports that hasn't gotten cobbled up my cable TV. For the most part, it still is a product you can watch on OTA TV if you still have your antenna. Otherwise, the NFL has been a little everywhere for our viewing pleasure. Didn't Amazon have a piece of it this last season? I give the NFL a lot of credit for basically allowing the sport to be seen by people in all kinds of TV situations. And remember kids, don't forget to ROLL TIDE!! your friends today.

I vaguely remember it. But I didn't have cable at the time. I did enjoy watching some old games on YouTube. Gary Bender and Pat Hayden was a very underrated broadcast team. Unfortunately, TNT only broadcast games half the season. Then ESPN broadcast the other half.

I remember these telecasts, fondly!

The original intro theme was a real banger, too!

Original NFL on TNT Theme

Fox has been basically ripping off 1 of the NFL on TNT themes for going on 20 years now

YouTube - can you hear the similarity?

and yes I wouldn't be surprised if both versions came from the same royalty free for TV use music collection
