Sure, I would have no problem with that.

Why don't they do it? They have examples of horrendous acts that cross their desk every year yet they don't do a thing of substance.

If you're looking for someone to mount a defense for Goodell or the public relations/ethics of the NFL, then you've definitely got the wrong guy

I think they, as a business, capitalized on the emotions of a moment and didn't want to be seen as inactive or silent to their players/sponsors/fans, hence the "end racism" stuff.

It's a safe, easy, (hell, let's face it - lazy), way to get a PR participation grade with a softball symbolic statement that virtually no one would find issue with.

*Well, almost no one. They didn't account for the poliboard

What's retarded about putting it there in the first place is that when do you ever remove it? Will racism ever be ended? Pretty sure the answer is no, so I guess it stays up forever?

Truth and you know damn well nobody in the NFL corporate office wants to raise their hand at the conference table and suggest that it's time to remove it. The DEI representative will shoot them on sight.

It will be there forever.

It was more a rhetorical question.

Yeah, that'll stop all the divisive rhetoric we've been hearing from Democratic pundits for the past few years.
If I could go back in time and eliminate one thing from its' mere existence it would have to be the George Floyd incident. The world was changed because of it. It set back race relations 50 years or so.
