Yeah, your only flaw is in that you know how the law is written, not how it actually works. I also don't remember asking for your help as you apparently have zero experience on the subject matter. Stick to losing your shite over baseball bats and pregame warmups. You might be in for a rude awakening if you ever fully learn how the real world works outside of text books and study cases. Good luck out there chief

If someone threatened you with a baseball bat, would you stand your ground?
Posted on 12/22/15 at 1:52 am to jeff5891
honestly, I've made dumber decisions on standing my ground against worse than a baseball bat
If I'm a professional athlete on Monday night football, the last the thing on my mind is an opponent attacking me with a weapon. Even less about what kind of felony charges he faces for trying to intimidate me

I've been in practice longer than you've been able to wipe your own arse.
I'm well aware of how the real world works. One day you'll grow up and figure it out...or you won't...survival of the fittest.

so why are you still talking shite to me? I said I was wrong and even said I had made previous dumb mistakes in my last post. I like how you use the condescending tone while still coming off as a pretentious dick but yet still find a way to mention my a-hole. Quit being such a ****, nobody cares about your law degree

How did he stand his ground or not stand his ground against the guy with the bat?
Posted on 12/22/15 at 5:27 am to LSUFAITHFUL
No one gives a shite that you have a law degree. I see dumb attorneys all the time. BTW, since this is such a slam dunk case, you should jump all over it. It'd really help Beckham's argument to not serve the suspension.

yeah, talking trash. but the guy is approaching him with a bat in his hand talking trash that is clearly upsetting him. not sure why this is allowed but taunting isn't.. okay..
Why would that be upsetting? I can't imagine a teenager even being upset, unless they are a whiney beeotch like OJB

Several feet away, on a football field, pregame warm-up, without making any threatening motion? Please

You might be a bigger bitch than Beckham and Norman.
Many LSU fans have been fricking embarrassing about this ordeal. Beckham was mindfricked from pregame to when the clock hit zero and he single-handedly cost his team the game with penalties and his ridiculous dropped pass.
IDGAF who started what, Beckham lost his cool and played right into their hands. He has an anger problem and Coughlin referenced it in his press conference yesterday. He is incredibly talented, but Sunday was a shitstain on his image that he will likely never live down. It is what it is. Stop embarrassing yourselves by sticking up for him.
I like him and support him going forward, but this shite is out of hand.

So they don't win if he catches that dropped 52-yard TD pass? At the very least the Panthers would have been driving to tie the game.
What about his 45 yards in personal foul penalties as well as a 10- yard offensive PI call? Some of those penalties didn't kill drives?
Face it - if Beckham is his normal self the Giants win on Sunday.

You people have lost touch with reality. No intelligent, sane person would have felt threatened in Beckham's situation.
So if the Panther's would have told Beckham they were going to hunt down and f*** his mom, would it have been a rational decision to get her into protective custody?

this is the NFL. they shouldn't allow this wwe shite on the field.
You apparently haven't been paying attention to the NFL the past few years.....
It is closer to WWE than it has ever been.

What if Eli didn't throw an interception in the endzone with about 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter?

30 of those yards came on one drive, and the Giants scored a td on that drive.

The Giants scored 35 points against a great Carolina defense. Unfortunately, the Giants have the worst defense in the NFL and once again the defense cost them the game in the last 75 seconds.

Probably the same guys that think the Saints deserved the year long suspensions. No one is saying OBJ didn't deserve his suspension. I think Panthers should have theirs as well. They made threats then started the game off with cheap shots. Drop the hammer on all acting the thug. Officials as well

What intelligent, sane referee allows a player from the opponents to cross midfeild before the game while one team is stretching and threaten a player with a blunt object while he is stretching with his team?
Probable the same intelligent, sane ref that saw no reason to throw a flag on this on the 2nd offensive play of the game.

The tone was set early that the refs were not going to control the game and Odell was left to take matters into his own hands.
