I don't doubt you think you know what you are talking about but out of everyone on the Internet, you are the only person talking about these missed felony assault charges.

Apparently I did, what page is that on? I still think talking about felony charges on a player for something like that is beyond overkill

Technically a crime was committed. Will he face felony charges probably not-should he face discipline from the nfl? Yes. If you could f%cking read, you would see that's all I've said should happen to him.

You trolled for 10 pages without even looking at the videos in the op. Goodnight

they didn't happen?

It disappointing me that you see something like that and immediately think about what crimes are being committed

Now you can't be this stupid. Crimes happen all the time without charges being brought.

Yes, because there was a real possibility that a panther was going to take a bat to Odell's knees on the 40 yard line during pregame warm ups
I'm going in to work tomorrow with a baseball bat and threatening my coworkers. When HR yells at me, I'm going to use the defense that "yeah, because there's a real possibility I was gonna hit Karen in the breakroom"

He approached him with a bat talking shite (per video). Per witnesses, he threatened to give him career ending injuries.
It disappoints me that you have no problem with this.

I do, and Odell acted like an a-hole in response. Apparently I'm not thinking as literal about this as you guys. Everyone knows that a panthers player is not going to start swinging on Odell with a bat before/during a game. I will admit that yes, I was wrong about the exact legal context of what assault with a weapon is but seriously, nobody is about to discuss felony charges in such a minor altercation

you also compared the situation to putting a gun in someones face so don't take it personal if I don't use your legal judgement as my beacon

Dude with the bat should be tossed out of the league. OBJ still deserves the suspendion.

Examples of aggravated assault include:
striking or threatening to strike a person with a weapon or dangerous object
quote:
The crime of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon requires that the offender have used a deadly weapon in the commission of the crime. An object is a deadly weapon if it likely can cause death or great bodily harm. A gun and a large knife are, by definition, deadly weapons because they are inherently dangerous and even designed to cause injury.
Other objects, such as rocks, bricks, or even a boot can constitute a deadly weapon if the object is used in a manner likely to cause or threaten serious bodily injury or death. A person wearing a heavy, steel toed boot, for instance, could cause serious injury or even death by kicking another person with them. Threatening to beat someone up with brass knuckles or to “break your legs” while wielding a metal bar also constitutes assault with a deadly weapon, because the threat and menacing behavior occur while the offender wields a weapon that likely could cause death or severe injury.
There is a difference BTW real world similarities and similarities in the eyes of the law

No worries. I won't take it personal. I also won't come visit your dumb arse in jail when you're in there trying to figure out why threatening ppl with a bat landed your arse in jail... and I also won't help you figure out why your defense of: "no one seriously thought I would do it with witnesses present" doesn't work.
