Simoneaux likes both offenses so tough to say, bob Howell had great success with an option type offense in his time at Zachary. Weiner got that job to go with a different exciting type offense which they have had but at a cost to their defense, that offense doesn't help a defense and Zachary has been bad on defense under him, with guys like Gerry garidel, johnny nagle etc on defensive staff they shouldn't be as bad as they have been.
Dunham definitely has the money to pay him
I just threw Blanchard in there because he lives close, think they could do much better, port Allen could be a great job if they actually coached the kids up

I played for both Howell and Weiner in Zachary and I can say a lot of players didnt really like playing for Weiner. Something about his personality just rubbed a lot of us the wrong way. If dealing with parents was an issue with Mistretta, then it'll definitely be one for Weiner too. But yeah there's no way Howell comes back with the way he was run outta town by the administration. Plus he's pretty successful right now up in Missouri.

I played for the man, so I am somewhat bias. David Masterson is an alum and has done something with absolutely nothing at Northeast. He's a great man that gets the best from every player. Would love to see him at least get a look because I think he could do a fine job with those resources.

In reference to Howell, I have it on good authority that he is trying to get back to coaching in BR.

Super Dave is going for a record of being the longest tenured coach in EBR history lol
I had heard Weiner did rub some people the wrong way, and I doubt the dunham culture will change even for Weiner
Mahaffey has Sid beat for best recruiter in BR, heck he is the best on the lsu campus

this comment does not surprise me but I think that football is the worst, I will be surprised if NW likes to coach there!

Dunham parents have gotten worse over the last 5-6 years.

Dale coached at Trafton Academy back in the day and Neil went there for 2 or 3 years.

I bet Mistretta was upset that deep pockets on the basketball team ruined his practice space, a new gym is about to be completed on the former practice field, they are left with a 20 yd square to practice at the school or they need to go to the game field which is 2 miles away...people are talking about the football parents, what exactly are they doing?
