Even with shitty coaches UNL has been recruiting in the top 20 as I recall.
It still has enough cache to draw in good players with a good, name, coach.
Who knows if Kiffin is that coach, but while the Bugeaters are not likely to be the next Bama, they can still be a very competitive team with the right guy. They have the facilities and fan base.

From what I have heard (yes, sauces!) from down here in South Florida, Lane wasn't thrilled moving from Boca to Oxford. Oxford is Paradise compared to Lincoln. No chance in hell.
