And that was false

Jordan was the best of all time and played when they could beat the shite out of you
Prime Jordan would shoot 26 free throws and average close to 50 with today's rules
Jordan's teams were built for that era. But today's rules aren't built to contain prime Jordan.

If you just adjust the numbers according to the average pace of today’s game Jordan is a 36ppg, 7rebs and 6apg player for his career. Plus he’s the best defensive player at his position.

And? It didn't slow their success. You said it was implemented because a 19 year old rookie who averaged 20 ppg needed a boost. I said it was to increase scoring averages which had been down for several years after the zone was implemented, highlighted by the Pistons holding teams under 70 points 11 times in the 2004 season, including 5 in a row. The Pistons beat the Pacers in Game 6 69-65 to advance to the NBA Finals.
Which makes more sense?

Dude, freedom of movement rules have been being implemented up until 2018. Pretending like removing hand checking was the only offensive rule put in during the last 20 years is just false.

Not to help LeBron, which you argued the rule change was for. He averaged 31.4 ppg in 06. He didn't need any help to score.

So you missed the 07 finals I guess. I understand that you don’t know the actual point of the game but it’s to win. Racking up regular season stats isn’t the goal.

In 06 he averaged 30 ppg in the playoffs on 47.6% shooting.
07 Finals - You mean after he scored 25 in a row and dropped 48 in G5 in Detroit? The 07 Finals was one series where San Antonio got away with sending 4 defenders at a 22 year old LeBron every time cause the rest of the team was terrible, and he hadn't developed a consistent jumper yet. The NBA didn't change the rules based off that one series lol.
Btw the next year LeBron was incredible against that 08 Celtics super team and dropped 45 on that defense in a G7 loss. Pushed them further than any other team.
He never needed a rule change to help him score the basketball. He's played in an era of zone defense, Jordan didn't. Bron also isnt a FT merchant, he gets buckets.

lol he averaged 22ppg on 35% shooting and 20something % from 3. Again the league needed him to win, ratings were as low as they’d ever been in that era and they wanted another MJ like figure. You’ve been wrong about everything you’ve said in this thread so you’re not looking for reality, you’re shilling for one player.
