this thread is about the playoffs. one poster said the east is garbage, which clearly after the first round, it is, and someone else used the dumbass regular season stats that are skewed by terrible teams at the bottom.

And that point is still wrong, lol.

If you take the Kings record vs the East out, then you have to take out the Wizards record vs the West.

And when you do that, the East is STILL better head to head.

I said if you take GS to Sac in the West, not just Sac by themselves. Read the whole post before you respond next time

And if you take out the 2 worst East teams, i bet head to head would be pretty similar.

And last I checked, those playoff teams in the West did get to play GS and SAC to help boost there records up.

The ultra competitive west, right guys? I mean those first round games were sure thrillers:

Nuggets 4-1
Lakers 4-1
Rockets 4-2
Mavs 4-1

West is over-fricking-rated.

pistons were the worst team in the playoffs. BOS is so overrated that they let a .500 team take them to 7. ORL was supposed to challenge the Cavs, but they drop 2 to the second worst playoff team in PHI. MIA is a one man show that ATL should have beaten in 5 at worst.

the only team you have a case with is NOLA. i dont think anyone with a brain would say that UTAH, SA, or POR couldnt take any of those EAST bottomdwellers

I think you're mistaken if you think it is a no brainer that Utah could take Chicago.

Sure, Utah had a better regular season record.

But look at how each team played in the final month. Chicago was playing MUCH better than Utah, who finished something like 7-11 over there last 18.

And the Bulls almost beat the Celtics, and i'm fairly certain the Jazz wouldn't have given the Celtics as many problems.

So, I think the Bull-Jazz would be a very close series, not even close to a no brainer.
