You are right that was BS call. My guess is it stems from earlier this season when SGA passed ball to opponent after stoppage and got called for a T. Not sure if was same ref but perhaps that played into it? But agree it was bullshite call.

I know they have active OKC Fans on this board, so that's why it's being discussed, but really would be best if they had a BYE rather than play out that series...
Obv the NBA wants to build up Jalen Green, he gets experience etc.. but
I don't even think people from Arizona want to watch that series...

The head of NBA referee operations since October 2023 is a Thunder fan btw. The following is a 2012 tweet from his personal bird app account: "yells #ThunderUp [Thunder logo] "

Its nice that OKC owns all the refs in the entire NBA, big markets be damned. Must be our oil money.
NBA
@NBA
OKC is the first team in NBA history to post a +300 point differential over any 15-game span at home in the playoffs, dating back to last postseason

We need a refund dammit!!!
Thunder are #9 of 16 teams in free throw attempts so far in the playoffs.
Thunder were #17 of 30 teams in free throw attempts in the regular season

Our biggest worry is JDub and his left hammy. He played hurt last year playoffs with injured wrist but still made a difference. Ajay wasn’t part of last year being injured and will be the X factor. JDub only played 33 games this year so OKC learned to play without him but playoffs are a different animal. Will be hard to repeat if he’s out all playoffs. Can probably win this and next series without him and maybe he comes back for WCF? Otherwise will be tough

It seems they’re trying to recreate the Kansas city chiefs but in basketball form

Why go back 3 years to prove your point?

Yeah I didn’t care for the refereeing last night. Very inconsistent whistles, started loose and then tightened up bad. You could tell basically everyone on the floor was perplexed about what was and wasn’t a foul lol.

These boards know reffing its all that consumes them 24/7/365. Not one sports game thread goes without a constant barrage of ref whining. I think it funny and enjoy all the melts.

They get a favorable whistle. SGA tops that list imo. It makes their games boring to watch.

Stop watching? Stop posting?

This is just another bad way of interpreting data from you, as usual.
You have a bunch of soft dudes getting touch fouls. Vs teams that are more physical offensively. Ft disparaty isnt the stat to use. Use your eyeballs. They are cheap fouls. You know they are. You know your team flops more than any other, with stars that flop far less egregiously than your star.

OKC plays with so much (usually legal) physicality and it FEELS like a lot of fouls. It gives the impression. The other team tries to “match the physicality” but they’re bad at it so they foul. The losing team is sore. A missed call (they happen!) makes the rounds. Rinse, repeat
Fans and society have failed. No one can admit defeat its always the refs fault. Kids who grew up getting trophies and awards for last place
The Spurs lose and De’Aaron Fox publicly complains about the refs, the Wolves lose and Chris Finch publicly complains about the refs, the Raptors lose and Darko Rajakovic complains about the refs.
I love how after the data disproves your conspiracy theories you changed the goalposts to eye test. Its like romper room in here and I love the whiners.
Here’s an eye test for you but with your blinders it is just wasted effort.
Keep on melting its fun seeing your veins popping lol

Lmao the vast majority of those were very legit fouls.
And included nothing like the flop fest that FTA loves to put on. At least Book isnt kicking his feet out to the side to draw fouls.
