I've always been a NASCAR fan but I think the length of the season hurts the sport. The season runs from January to November. 36 races is too much in my opinion. I mean really...do they really need 26 races to determine who deserves to be in the chase? Also, I think NASCAR dropping the extra race at Darlington and leaving tracks like North Wilksboro and Rockingham was a bad mistake. It is sad that the sport has gone away from its roots and now only cares about the money. But hey...its a business and as long as the big wigs are making money, then they don't care about anybody else.

Jimmie's dominance has hurt the ratings too in my opinion.

More printing races on a weekday please.

A couple years ago Daytona was rain delayed to Monday night.

It was the best race ever with an incredible finish. It could have been like that AFL playoff game(Annie game?) in terms of a hallmark moment in the sport.

But they failed to capitalize on that.

I know they do Pepsi 400 at night but it is on a Saturday in a holiday weekend. There is a lot going on for people.

Want viewers? get them while they are at home in the couch.

As for me, ehhh. I rarely watch TV on a regular basis anymore. Doubtful I sit down and watch a full race again. It's hard for me to watch a full football game anymore
