First to answer correctly chicken told me he would let you ban any 5 posters you find annoying

Now question:

When did the very old baseball franchise currently known as the Dodgers have their worst offensive series in franchise history by batting average

Incorrect my friend. The Dodgers can’t have their worst series against themselves.

Unfortunately you failed to read the fine print. It’s totally common happens all the time. Post season actually doesn’t count we are talking a 3 game series. Chicken was supposed to make that clear. In good faith I’ll let you have another go

My guess is it was against the braves in the past few years. Maybe even the series they just played.

In 1908 the Brooklyn superbas (became the dodgers) batted .213 in the entire season apparently!

Still better than they did in their worst series ever.

Elder made Ohtani look like a dumb loser multiple times

I played a few games of OOTP in 1901 and baseball back then was something else. I’m sure they didn’t fully capture it. But you have dudes throwing 150 pitches in a game; and they still are ready to throw more. Eras were insanely low because many (maybe even most) scoring seemed to be off errors as the fielders were terrible. And then of course no DH. Some of the pitchers could hit pretty well though. What a time

Must have been fun.

I love OOTP haven’t played much in a few years.

I end up getting super super deep into its many complex systems and my wife gripes or gets lonely.

Might pick up the most modern one though soon

Well they weren’t technically the “dodgers” back then. Although they were called the trolley dodgers as a nickname even before then

I just found it a couple months ago and let me just say my GF isn’t too thrilled right now I’m playing as the 1988 braves (one of the worst Braves teams ever) hoping to have them competing even before 1991 if possible. I made a few moves and the teams isn’t too bad somehow. We are like 11-10. I snagged Bo Jackson and Deion sanders (he is still in the minors)

I already have almost half as many wins as the actual team had IRL! And the only dudes I really had to give up were Cary and Ozzie.

BTW - what were the Braves thinking back then? Their relievers are mostly flyball pitchers - as well as most of their prospects (not including Avery, smoltz and glavine) - and they played in Fulton county. No wonder they were so bad.
