Nobody bats an eye for $10,000 spread or moneyline bet placed, people will 100% start looking when 10 bands are dropped on a first pitch bet, like come on. That’s a $1,000 bet max that someone would place and realistically $100 is even pushing it. That’s a I got $50 left, let’s try and double to get back in kind of bet, not a $10k bet. And plus the IRS will start snooping, like you have to have the money to place a $10,000 bet, and when you can’t justify it, but they see that you’re homies with the starting pitcher or homies of a homie of homie of the starting pitcher of an MLB team, the dots begin to connect themselves.

The individual owners of all of these franchises own large stakes in online gambling sites such as Draftkings.
Smart.
Smart.

Legalized gambling is allowing oversight of the totality of data and finding the irregularities to prosecute offenders, finally.
That's 100% true.
Game fixing is nothing new. Having access to the available data to find it is.
The biggest change is the sheer amount of prop bets available. Vegas and the mob weren't offering hundreds of prop bets on any and everything because it was too much of a pain in the arse to administer.
Legal sports betting isn't going to go away. There's FAR too much money being made. But I suspect you will see the amount of prop bets lessen. You will also see the FBI/DOJ make a big public spectacle of cases like this to discourage such dumb cheating.

I sort of preferred the gambling between two individuals as to which drop of water would skitter down a window first.
Any thing that involves more than two people is open to one creating advantages that the others don't know about.
