If he's gay, I feel bad that he felt pressures to go to such lengths to hide.

But I don't think it is the case

I don't think in normal situations coming out is the smart financial thing to do. But in this situation where his reputations is completely tarnished no matter what, it might be his best move... assuming he is, or even if he's not.

I'd like to add some gay stocks to my mutual funds.

Are gay stocks a good hedge for my portfolio?

Also I think it would be cool to have an elite NFL player (he could be I guess) who is openly gay.

Ya....amd California isn't like the rest of the country. Isn't it something like the 6th biggest economy in the world? Not to mention he would be huge in NYC as well. Gays may not be a significant demo in the NFL yet but he could instantly change that and if he could he would get PAID!!! Even if he didnt get paid the worst case scenario is he get a normal NFL career, he would be respected by over half the country and the rest wouldn't bad mouth him for fear of being a homophobe. Besides having to act gay all of the time doing this would be a very low risk very high reward choice for him....way better than his other two options which both have zero upside.

I heard that Dell Computer just went gay on the New York Stock Exchange.

I'm sure Tim Cook would have a fierce time throwing some Apple flair behind "Naughty" Manti Te'O. Or founder of PayPal and tech financier Peter Thiel.

Valid points, but what is the alternative? He's either the biggest dumbass in history or a scumbag liar.

What's worse? Gay, dumbest person on earth, or scumbag liar?
