Perhaps, but I don't believe so.

I think they will turn it on at some point.

Lee and Shields but Rangers have to be willing to part with certain prospects.... Of course those teams say the players won't be moved but offer right package and anyone is expendable.

No way. Is he even 100% healthy? He's been terrible this year.

No thanks.

I'm not absorbing a $95 million commitment for Lee without at least $50 million from the Phillies thrown in.

Shields isn't all that much better than the options they have right now.

Good thing you wouldn't have to absorb it the owners would and it isn't like they don't have the money.

There's no interest from the Rangers owners to do it.

I believe he's still the type of pitcher who can win you a playoff series.

Can't disagree with them. They will have to grit it out. I think Ogando could be as good as anyone they would pick up.

Agreed about Ogando, but then what happens in the pen?

Gotta be Victorino to Dodgers and/or Pence to Giants.

Maybe a three-way trade involving those two plus Lindblom, Headley, Belt, Gary Brown, etc .. ?

Uehara and Lowe comeback healthy.

Feliz would be in pen if healthy.

I had about those 2. Regarding Feliz, would he be OK as the 8th inning guy?

Are you also thinking that the Angels sweep the Rangers in this series?

There's really not big time guy out there.
Rangers fans want a big time pitcher without having to give up big time prospects. It generally doesn't work that way.

Feliz is probably the 7th inning guy now, sometimes 8th inning guy. Depends on Adams and how he performs.

If they play like last night, yes. But probably not. Probably a 2-2 split.

Me throwing left handed is a better option than Oswalt right now

So you boot Oswalt and replace with Feldman and Ogando. Ogando as a four is pretty good. Feldman has been pitching better than a five lately.

They should just let Feliz be a util RP the rest of the year. He's stretched out enough to where he can go 3-5 innings if needed

I had forgot about Adams. Feliz as a 7th inning guy just seems weird considering he was closing last year.

Regarding this series, I just hope that Haren can pitch tomorrow night. His back was stiff again after his last start.

Just bring someone from the neighborhood nursing home. The Rangers can't hit anyway.
