Is the MLB pitcher named? Who is it? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

Not a dumb question. It matters. At my peak? I'd say yes. I'm a lefty and would hit against a tall lefty that threw 96-97 and was a 2nd round draft pick when he was in and training. Never made it to MLB though.

He picked me because I owned him as a 9th grader when he was a senior. Went at the top of the 2nd round to St. Louis. Went 4-4 with 2 HR's with a double and triple against him.

ETA-but current pitchers like Skenes and others seem to have filthier shite than the best guys back in the day. I don't know what a 105 mph fastball looks like.
I was recruited in the early 90's by Arkansas, LSU and MState so I think I could get a bat on the ball. Hitting it solid would be a different story. I would've like to have stood in against an elite MLB pitcher back then just to see what it looked like up close. I hit against some retired guys that were well past their prime at some camps, but no one I'd ever heard of until then.

You’d strike out 333 straight times if you were given 1000 fastballs and guaranteed they’d all be in the strike zone.

Nah. I could probably make contact when his pitch count got up to 750. Guessing he would maxing out around 60-65mph by then.
