Hell Even Lambeer would have a field day with these punks nowadays. I would LOVE to see Durant even try to come into the lane with Lambeer there.
You know so much about these guys, but you can't even spell their names right.
It is Laimbeer.
ETA: I took out the captial "I" because it looks like an "l".
And, Kevin Durant would own him over and over again.

jordan won a couple contests with a FT line dunk. that shite isn't anything today
Flight White did FT dunk with his foot 6 inches closer, but brought the ball behind his head with 2 hands and couldn't even get a 50 last night.

Yet their dunk contests were better not really
YES REALLY. AGAIN you were NOT alive. The dunk contest is cool with you TODAY cause you have NOTHING to back on that you watched take place. The DUNK contest is GARBAGE today compared to back then.

Laimbeer would knock his lights out if he dare come in the Lane. The Pistons of 89-90 would CRUSH the Thunder.

With an i...Laimbeer
I know. I used a capital "I" for emphasis, but I saw that it looks like an "l" on here. I fixed it.

Have you watch an 80s dunk contest within the past 20-30 years? As awesome as those dunks were in the 80s, they're not as interesting today. That's why dunkers are constantly having to push the envelope and do dunks with higher degrees of difficulty, which also means more missed dunks and a worse contest.
LINK These dunks are not better than what we saw last night. Like not even close.

You are missing the point........ YES Its the guys from the 80's that have MADE these players today do stupid shite to try to get points. Back then THE dunk conteset seemed REAL. Now it even looks fake. If Spud Webb came in next year [IN HIS PRIME] And did what he did in '86. He would win easily.

Maybe, but that's because he's 5'7. If Jordan was in last night's contest and did those 80s dunks, he wouldn't have even made the Finals. As SFP said, Jordan won a couple dunk contests on a FT line dunk, and last night James White only got a 45 for a better FT line dunk. It's a new decade.

I agree. But that doesn't means its better. The reason these guys in todays game have to do some of those stupid TRICK dunks is BECAUSE of Jordan and Wilkins. This is what you do not get.

If rik smits played today he would be the best center in the league

I hated the Pistons but those teams where some of the most physical teams of all time. They would have half the guys in today's game on IR.
Hell the NBA had to make a rule about faking getting fouled. Trust me they wouldn't have had to fake 25 yrs ago. They would be getting knocked the frick out.

Jordan has always been a bitter dickhead
the media in the 80s was more concerned with creating "Jordan" than it was reporting on how horrible of a person he was
michael jordan would never have been "MJ" in today's media environment

you know there are still players playing who played in the physical era that came after the bad boys, right?
the NBA had to change its rules to get away from that horrible style of play. people forget that
