brees was 32/39 for 288 and 2 TD

Rodgers completed 24 of 39 passes for 304 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. 8 less completions is no big deal.

they were both money. but the comparison isnt brees vs rodgers. its brees/rodgers vs ben.

why you put brees and rodgers stats against each other while leaving ben's out i dont know.

Disagree. Rivers is a good QB, BUT hasn't won shite in SD. Ben has two SBs under his belt and that puts him over Rivers EASY.

Over Rivers... YES. I like Rivers, he has a attitude and brings it. I would still take Big Ben because he has been more sucssefl than Rivers when it counts.

going 9 for 21 for 100something yards with 0 TDs and 2 picks is the stuff superbowl legends are made of. i cant argue with you there.

Ben has gotten his team there three times while Rivers hasn't come close to the SB with the #1 O + D in the NFL

As Peej stated, Ben is perfect for what the Steelers do on O. He isn't in a system where he has the chance to put up Brees type numbers

Without question. He is just as firmly entrenched in the top 5 as any of the others. I think the top 5 QBs in the league are so clearly above everyone else that it's amazing that the line happens to be drawn at such a round number. I'll listen to any top 5 that has Brady, Brees, Manning, Rodgers, and Rivers in any order. But I won't listen to one that leaves any of those guys out. The only argument that can be made for anyone else would be for Vick, not Roethlisberger.

Ben's team has gotten him there three times. Again, this attributing of team success to the QB is the most annoying and lazy concept in all of sports analysis.

Are you serious??? So I guess PITTSburgh would have made three SB'S with Vick???

Ya see I am NOT a stat GUY I am into winning. And at least getting close. Rivers has ALL the stats, but has shite to show for it. And before you say Marino, He has the stats as well, but never had a running game.

With last year's version of Vick, yes. They would've won at least 3 Superbowls. But I won't argue this point with you as we have many times before. You have your opinion on it and I have mine.

I will disagree with this. ONLY because Pitts Offense is NOT designed for a QB like VICK.

BUT Your opinion is yours. I respect it.

winning is a team stat. really not hard to understand that, although for you i can see how it would be.
