Softball tough guy.

I pitched last summer and I am 48 years old. I don't have the reflexes I did 20-30 years ago but was still comfortable fielding balls against flat bellies. I had several hit back at me and did a good job stopping them and turning double plays or throwing them out at first. One I got my glove up just before it would have hit me dead square in the chest. After the play I realized just how close that came to being something serious, but never had any animosity to the hitter. That being said I am now retired.

i've done this a time or two. it's dangerous as frick. had a kid want to fight me in franklinton last year for doing it to him. i admittedly have a screw or two loose.

did he throw his glove at you? because that happened to me (hit a liner back up the box and the pitcher threw his glove at me on 1st)
